ROAD RACING REPORT by JD King
Reports that the MARRS finale will be the week before the SJR JRRC. Mike LaMaina
spoke with the WDCR RE about it and was referred to the race planners. There is concern that
the back-to-back races will affect our turnout. There is a MARRS Drivers’ Rep conference call
this Saturday that Mike will be on.
A Time Trial event at NJMP will be planned in conjunction with our May race.
Live race announcing will continue for the 2025 season. Will ask if the stream can be
simulcast to the SJR SCCA YouTube channel.
Pending the finalized track contracts, the Board of Directors will review our pricing
structure for the 2025 road racing season.
Bill Von Suskil will solicit prices for an updated region business card.
RALLY REPORT by Jim Wakeman, Sr.
Reports that someone is needed to be the safety steward and to help the program. Jim
will see if Ed Jenks is able to help with the May rally.
Jim is trying to gracefully solve the conundrum of rallies beginning at the Ciocca Atlantic
City dealership as it adds numerous miles to routes to get to less traffic-dense areas of southern
New Jersey. Beginning at the dealership provides ample parking and staging area and exposure
for the dealership.
NEW BUSINESS
NOMINATION OF SECRETARY
Jacob King will fill the Secretary role.
GRASSROOTS MOTORSPORTS AD PACKAGE by Joe Hines

Grassroots Motorsports magazine.

which may complicate things.

cancelation fee if notified within 48 hours.
Joe Hines will make three (3) certificates for $50.00 off a 2025 SJR Event no cash value,
to be offered as prizes for the 50/50 drawing.
